Elisa D'Amico is an experienced attorney, passionate advocate, and thought leader. She is dedicated to her clients and her causes, which include the Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project and Miami-Dade FAWL.
Elisa is a litigation partner with K&L Gates LLP and co-founder of the firm’s Digital Crisis Planning & Response (DCPR) client solution. In that role, she counsels corporations, educational institutions, and high-profile individuals in proactively planning for and effectively managing digital crisis situations, including university scandals, corporate imposter accounts and websites, and leaked confidential and proprietary information. She also fights internet-based abuse such as invasions of privacy, cyber harassment, fraud, and unfair and deceptive acts and practices.
Because of her knowledge and experience, Elisa is frequently quoted and cited in articles and other media related to online harassment, sexual cyberharassment, and social media law. She is the President Elect of Miami-Dade FAWL, a Founding Member of the Advisory Board of the Tyler Clementi Institute for CyberSafety at New York Law School, Co-Chair of the ABA Forum on Communications Law Digital Communications Committee, a member of The Florida Bar Media & Communications Law Committee, and a Member of the Dade Legal Aid Advisory Board.
